There are different things to look for in each of the different operating defects. If the system will not operate at all, there may be a problem with the power or the settings.  First step is to make absolutely sure that the system is getting power.  Find out where it is plugged in and test the power source. If your conditioner is moving air, but it is not coming out cool, there are several things that can be going on. The first step is check to see how much air is going through the system.
